Studio Policy

 

Tuition is due in full on the first lesson of the month.  A late fee of $15 will be charged after one week past due.  Tuition is non-refundable.  Payment for lessons is due in full whether the student attends each scheduled lesson or not.  Tuition is a flat rate per month, similar to gym membership, dance class, or gymnastics class.  

 

Each student is scheduled for a specific weekly time slot.  Your payment reserves that time slot.  As with a gym membership or dance class, you are responsible for tuition whether you attend each of your lessons or not.  I will have specific times available for make-up lessons should you choose to make up missed lessons.  You will be responsible for scheduling with me should you miss your scheduled lesson time.  

 

We will follow GCCISD for school breaks and holidays.  If your scheduled time falls on a Monday holiday, we will do your lesson on the following Friday.  For long breaks like Thanksgiving, Chrismtas, and Spring Break, we will also break.  5 weeks months are charged the same as shorter months to help balance out the number of lessons.

 

If you're running late to your lesson, it will still end at the scheduled time. I usually have lessons scheduled immediately following yours or other appointments and obligations.  Please also be on time to pick up your child if you drop them off.  

 

Tution covers one on one time spent with the student, as well as preparation time for the lesson.  It also covers research of materials and preparation for those materials.  It helps cover recital preparations, professional development for me, and piano repairs and tuning.
